Seasons

Spring: stocking, high flows and the strongest hatches of the year through April and May.
Summer: fish the upper reaches early and late; the lower creek warms and should be left alone in a heat wave.
Fall: cooling water, wild brown trout on the move and very good streamer fishing with light pressure.
Winter: low and clear, with midge fishing in the deeper pools for anglers who dress for it.
