Who does not need one
Alaska residents under 18 and nonresidents under 16 do not need a sport fishing licence or a king salmon stamp. Alaska residents age 60 and older, and resident disabled veterans, fish without a licence but must carry a free ADF&G Identification Card.

Notes on this listing
All licence and king salmon stamp fees came from the official ADF&G sport licence price page loaded 2026-09-04. The king salmon stamp is a distinct product from the base licence and the nonresident short-term ladder (1/3/7/14-day) exists for both the licence and the stamp; both are captured. ADF&G does not publish a single headquarters phone number on its contacts pages, so phone is null; the general webmaster address is used for email. Free fishing days are not a published ADF&G program, so that field is null. Instagram and X handles were not listed on the official contacts page.
