Who does not need one
Arkansas residents and nonresidents under age 16 do not need a fishing licence. Resident 65+ anglers may buy a one-time 65-Plus Lifetime licence instead of an annual licence.

All fees came from the official AGFC Fishing License Descriptions and Fees page loaded 2026-09-04. AGFC does not publish a general licensing email address on its contact page, so email is null. Arkansas has no habitat stamp, second-rod permit or aquatic-invasive-species angling surcharge in the official fee list; the trout permit is the state's principal angling add-on. The Alligator Gar and Paddlefish trophy tags are recorded as harvest_card because they are carried and reported; the tag is free with a 5.00 application fee.
