Trout Zone Anglers

Trout Zone Anglers, LLC is a guide service rather than a retail shop, run from Crossville and within driving range of Knoxville, Nashville and Chattanooga. David Knapp owns it and works as head guide, drawing on more than 35 years of fishing experience, with two other guides working alongside him. The service covers a broad set of Tennessee water well past the national park, including the Caney Fork, Clinch, Holston and Obey tailwaters, the Obed and Big South Fork systems, Cumberland Plateau freestone streams and lakes where the quarry switches to stripers and carp. Musky trips appear on the schedule too. Casting lessons are sold separately at an hourly rate with a two hour minimum, and wading gear can be rented for a small daily charge by anglers who arrive without it.
