Confluence Outfitters
Red Bluff, California
Confluence Outfitters was created in 2007 by Andrew Harris with partners Gino Bernero and Jon Hazlett, and Harris still answers the phone and email himself. There is no storefront; the business is a booking office at a Red Bluff address coordinating a roster that the guide team page runs to more than twenty names. Its reach extends past California into southern Oregon, with trips on the Upper Rogue, the coastal Oregon rivers and the Wood and Williamson, plus striper and largemouth work in the Delta and on Lake Oroville. The company operates its own guide school and lists several current staff as graduates of it, from classes in 2012, 2014 and 2015. It also organizes hosted travel led by members of the guide team. Harris separately built LodgeRunner, the reservation platform used by fishing lodges and outfitters.
The operation is based at Red Bluff, California and fields a guide staff with multiple decades of combined experience across northern California and southern Oregon. Beyond its north coast winter steelhead programme it guides the Sacramento, the McCloud, Fall River, Hat Creek, Burney Creek, the Yuba, the Lower Feather, the Upper Rogue in Oregon and the Klamath Basin. It has taken TripAdvisor Travelers Choice awards in 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025.
