Bear Creek Anglers

Fishing is done on foot, in the spring fed limestone streams that thread the Driftless country around Decorah, with the guides working local water north of town; one outdoor travel feature followed a day on Trout River. Brown trout are the fish named. Half days cost $250 and full days $450 for one or two anglers, extra rods are arranged directly with the guide, and lunch comes with the longer outing. Rods, reels, waders, boots and flies are all provided. The season holds from the point snow clears the woods in spring until the end of November, and early starts are the advice through the hot months.
