Julie Szur Fly Fishing

Julie Szur runs a one-guide operation selling guided days and one-to-one tutoring, working from two bases: a mailing address at Slate Run, Pennsylvania, and a second at Ellicottville, New York. She was born and raised in Bradford, Pennsylvania, and started fishing at five years old. The water she covers stretches well beyond the Pine Creek valley, taking in the Frankstown Branch, the Little Juniata and the Juniata River, the Allegheny River, and the Lake Erie tributaries on both the Pennsylvania and New York sides. Alongside guided outings she books tutoring sessions and group work, and keeps a blog of stream conditions and reports for the region she covers.
