Allegheny Guide Service is based at 175 Alpine Way in Warren, Pennsylvania, and is licensed to guide in both Pennsylvania and New York. The operation is fully insured and the guide holds CPR, first aid and water safety certification. Its home water is the Middle Allegheny River below the Kinzua Dam outflow, one hundred and six miles of river of which eighty-six are designated National and Scenic, and it also books trips on Tionesta Lake and across the state line on Chautauqua Lake. Trip styles sold across those waters include drift fishing, fly fishing, casting and summer night fishing, with half days offered only in July and August and evening outings running from seven until eleven.
