The guided fishing is a newer line sitting on top of an established rental and shuttle business: kayaks go out at $50 a day for a ten-foot sit-on-top and $75 for a Jackson Coosa HD, an Old Town Discovery canoe is $100 a day, private camping is $10 a person, and shuttles run $25 a kayak and $30 a canoe. Snyder has said the guiding started about three years ago, growing out of taking friends out until customers saw what was happening and asked for the same thing.
