Spring Creek Outfitters

Spring Creek Outfitters is an owner-operated Western Maryland fly-fishing guide service based at 86 Big Frog Lane in Oakland, Maryland, run by Harold Harsh. Beyond the Garrett County home water it guides the Casselman River, the Savage River, the upper and lower North Branch Potomac and Deep Creek Lake, and it also sells a middle-river float from Confluence to Ohiopyle across the Pennsylvania line. The rate card is built around three formats: guided floats, walk-and-wade days for parties of up to three anglers, and overnight trips where all meals are included. Wading days are priced at $220, $320 and $395 for one, two and three anglers, with each additional person beyond three charged at $85, and a full day bass float runs $260 for one angler and $360 for two. A Maryland licence is required on every trip and a trout stamp on all but the lower North Branch Potomac.
