Trips leave from 120 Laishley Ct in Punta Gorda, at the Laishley ramp where the Peace River meets Charlotte Harbour, and the range worked runs from the river down through the harbour across to the Boca Grande pass, taking in Ponce De Leon Park and Cayo Costa. Captain Tom Knapp has now been fishing the waters of Charlotte Harbour and the Peace River for eighteen years, chasing tarpon, redfish, snook and trout, and the same water produces snapper, jack crevalle, black drum, cobia and sharks. The boat is a 24-foot Shoalwater flats boat with extremely comfortable seating for a full day out. Fishing is priced at $600 for four hours, $800 for six and $1,000 for eight, with those prices covering three people and additional anglers at $50 each up to a maximum of five. Tackle and bait are supplied, fishing licences are covered, and a large cooler with ice and water travels on the boat, while guests bring their own food and drink. Children under six must wear life jackets.
