Point Clear Fishing Adventures

The charter’s own account of its water describes fish holding in the deeper holes of the Spanish River, the Tensaw River, the Mobile River, the Blakely River and the Raft River, which is the lower delta above the Causeway. The boat is a twenty-three foot Ranger bay boat with a three hundred horsepower Yamaha. Speckled trout are the specialty, with redfish, flounder and tripletail also named. Four, five, six and eight hour trips are sold, priced for one to three anglers with an additional charge for a fourth. Ice, live bait, tackle, fuel and the fishing licence are covered, and the catch is cleaned and bagged at the end of the day; anglers bring their own food and drink.
