Drifting on the Fly
Kenai, Alaska
Drifting on the Fly is a guide service and lodge on the Kenai Peninsula, based at 35605 Kalifornsky Beach Road in Kenai, Alaska, and operating since 2002 under captain Scott Sager. Lodging is part of the business: cabins near the river at Soldotna sleeping up to four guests, with lodging packages available for larger groups. The other half of the operation is air access. Remote fly out adventures put anglers into streams beyond the road system, reached by bush plane on flights of thirty to ninety minutes, quoted per party for two or three anglers and available as overnight packages. Trips are shaped around what an angler wants to catch, and the operation publishes its own river reports.
