All Water Guides operates out of Austin and treats the Llano River as the most remote of the Hill Country waters it fishes. The company works five float stretches, three near Mason and two near Castell, and notes that on most days on the river its parties do not see other anglers. Wade trips are built around a minimum of two access points rather than a single spot. Floats run in stable whitewater rafts carrying two anglers and one guide. Guadalupe bass, the Texas state fish, is the main target, with largemouth bass, sunfish, catfish, gar, carp and Rio Grande perch also listed for the river. The Llano runs roughly 100 miles through three counties in the stretch the company describes. Central Texas rates are posted at 450 dollars for a half day of about four hours, 525 dollars for a three quarter day of five to six hours, and 600 dollars for a full day of seven to eight hours, with rods, reels, flies, leaders, boat and fuel included. Multi day trips are offered on the Llano.
