This profile was built from public records (Tier A. The operator's own Houston Skyline Kayak Tour page at buffalobayoukayak.com/kayak-tours/houston-kayak-tour/, checked as rendered body text in Claude in Chrome on 2026-10-23 at 2,467 characters, with the final hostname read back as buffalobayoukayak.com after navigation. That page names the Buffalo Bayou three times in prose and the Buffalo Bayou water trail twice, inviting the reader to paddle by the Houston skyline on the Buffalo Bayou water trail and to join a guided eco tour of that water trail, rather than naming it only in a nav item or a meta tag. The same rendered text publishes the operator's own telephone number, the 1019 Commerce Street, Houston, TX 77002 address and the tour meeting location, so both the phone and the town are operator-stated and not directory-only. The two-hour duration, the ten in the morning and one in the afternoon schedule, the all-ages note, the guided eco-tour description, the 1837 founding of Houston on this bayou and the related sunset, sunrise and paddleboard departures all come from that same rendered page. The bat bridge, full moon and paddle board tours, the walking tours, the party barge, the membership scheme, gift cards, corporate events and the bayou clean-up outings come from the operator's own home page at buffalobayoukayak.com, opened and checked as rendered text in the same browser on the same day at 9,530 characters, which names the Buffalo Bayou sixteen times and Houston twenty-seven times. The hourly kayak, tandem and stand-up paddleboard hire comes from the operator's own Houston Watersport Rental page at buffalobayoukayak.com/watersports-rental/, checked the same way at 2,314 characters, which republishes the same telephone number and the same Commerce Street address. Posted prices are time-sensitive and are not asserted. No founding year, owner or staff count is published on any of the three pages, so none is claimed. Bayou City Adventures, the business batch 173 dropped for this same water, is a different operator and its lapsed domain is not cited anywhere here.), last verified 2026-10-23T22:55Z. It was not provided by this business and does not mean the business endorses GuidedFloats. Bookings open once the guide claims it.
The paddle is on the Buffalo Bayou water trail through the middle of downtown Houston, and a guide goes out on the water with the group rather than handing over a boat and a map. Parties are met at the operator’s downtown address and the trip runs about two hours, with departures at ten in the morning and one in the afternoon, and the guide navigates the group along the bayou while talking through the landmarks it passes. The skyline is the point of the outing: paddlers go by the skyscrapers of the fourth most populous city in the United States, on a waterway the operator describes as massive and bio-diverse and as the spot where Houston was founded in 1837. Several variations on the same stretch are sold across the day and into the night, including a sunset run timed for the light coming off the towers, an evening trip to the bat bridge, a full-moon paddle, a sunrise trip billed as the quietest of the set, and a stand-up paddleboard version of the tour. All ages are taken on the skyline trip.
