Cascade Raft & Kayak

Cascade Raft & Kayak runs three distinct pieces of the Payette out of Horseshoe Bend on Highway 55, forty-five minutes north of Boise. The Main Payette is Class II to III, a half day of roughly three hours suited to families and open to ages five and up. The North Fork’s Cabarton run is a full day, also Class II to III and also ages five and up. The South Fork steps up to Class III to IV, offered as a half day or an extended full day of about eight hours, and is limited to ages twelve and older. Family boats are paddle rafts carrying six to nine paddlers plus a guide, while the adventure boats carry six. Guides and gear come with the trip, and the company also runs guided fly fishing on the river.
