Guided catch and release fly fishing for trout in the Tuolumne and Merced River watersheds, run from a base in downtown Groveland on the Highway 120 corridor. Trips go out year round in full and half day lengths, private to a party of up to eight guests, and are open to anglers from seven years old up with no previous experience required. The guides work water inside Yosemite National Park and across the Stanislaus National Forest, planning each day around the seasonal fishery and the party’s skill rather than a fixed itinerary. Hotel pick-up is offered along Highways 108 and 120. Pricing starts at $150, and the day includes a private guide, transport, a packed hikers lunch, the national park entrance fee where one applies, the fishing licence, rod, reel and flies, and boots and waders.
