Bayou Dorcheat is worked as a state-designated scenic stream out of Webster Parish, fished for bass, bream and crappie on cypress-lined water. The published rate is a flat full-day price for one or two anglers, with a deposit taken to reserve the date; that deposit is non-refundable if the customer cancels but transferable to another day within the same year, and it is refunded outright when inclement weather takes the day off the water. Hours are deliberately open-ended, the business stating that there are no set hours in a day of fishing and that guide and client will work together to do whatever it takes. Payment is settled in cash, by check or by money order after the trip rather than up front, and bookings are taken direct by phone or email rather than through any booking platform.
