Alaska Fishing and Rafting Adventures

Alaska Fishing and Rafting Adventures is a Fairbanks based outfitter that also trades under the name AK River Tours. It was founded by Logan Ricketts and is now owned by Reini Neuhauser, who holds a Coast Guard boat captain licence, and it fields a staff of more than a dozen guides and support crew including further Coast Guard certified captains and an IFMGA mountain guide. Its guided water reaches beyond the Chena to the Chatanika River and the Delta Clearwater. The company is unusual in the range of what else it runs: the Aurora Borealis Lodge, a set of insulated ice fishing cabins, a merchandise shop, and dog sledding, snowmobile and northern lights tours through the winter months.
