Andrews River Outfitters

Andrews River Outfitters is a Southwest Virginia float-fishing operation based at Nickelsville in Scott County, where it also runs the Lodge at Bent Creek Farm for anglers booking multi-day packages. Beyond the Clinch, the outfitter guides the North Fork Holston, the Powell and the New. Owner Richard Andrews has worked as a guide since finishing college in 2001 and holds a master’s degree in natural resources from NC State, with graduate research in stream and wetland ecology. He also owns and operates Tar-Pam Guide Service out of Bath, North Carolina, founded in 2010, and splits his year between the Appalachian rivers and the North Carolina coast. The company publishes dated fishing reports and a blog.
