Arkansas Fly Fishing Guide is a one guide operation rather than a shop or a lodge, run by Mike Winkler out of Heber Springs, Arkansas, the town that serves as the access point for the Little Red. Winkler has more than seven years of professional guiding behind him. The service covers three rivers in the region, adding the White River and the North Fork to the home water, so a booking can be shifted to whichever is fishing best. There is no retail counter, lodging or shuttle service attached to the business; it books trips only, taken by phone or email and promoted through its own social accounts, where recent trip photos and conditions are posted.
