Blue Ridge Troutfitters is a trout fishing guide service based at Blue Ridge in the north Georgia mountains, started in 2023 by Zach Norton, who owns it and guides for it. It is a guiding operation rather than a fly shop: no retail counter, no travel arm, and bookings taken on its own line. Beyond guided days on its home river it holds access to private water on Hemptown Creek and works the tributaries in the same drainage, so a booking has somewhere to go when the main river is off. Teaching is part of what it sells, on the water rather than as a separate lesson, and clients are taken with conventional tackle as readily as with a fly rod.
