Following Seas Guide Service is a two-man charter operation in Ocean City, Maryland, run by Captain Cole Evans with first mate Mason aboard every trip. Evans grew up fishing and hunting the waters of the Chesapeake and the Atlantic, holds an Angler’s Choice award and answers enquiries within the hour, while Mason handles lines and bait; the pair make a point of welcoming families and teaching youngsters to bait a hook and set a line. The boat is the Miss Joyce II, a 23-foot C-Hawk centre console built in 2019 with a 150hp Honda outboard, Simrad electronics, a VHF radio, a livewell, a wireless trolling motor and coolers on deck, rated for four guests.
