Harmels on the Taylor is a cabin resort at Almont, Colorado with a fly shop and guide service run out of it, sitting on its own stretch of river. John Evon manages the shop and heads the guiding, and the same operation trades separately as Taylor River Anglers from the same County Road 742 address, so the two names are one business rather than two. Beyond the ranch water the guides work the Gunnison and East rivers, Spring Creek and the reservoirs of the district. Lodging and day use river access are sold alongside the guided days.
