Jeff Goodwin Fishing Guide Service

A family run charter and guide operation working out of the Redding area. Captain Jeff Goodwin is owner and head guide, and his wife Jaynie is co owner and office manager, handling reservations, deposit payments and the trip calendar; their daughter Gracie works as a junior deckhand. Jeff has fished Pacific Northwest and northern California water for more than thirty years, guides full time and year round, and holds a USCG OUPV captain’s license along with California Department of Fish and Wildlife guide certification. Three partner captains, Justin Thompson, Jeff Brady and Kenny Turner, round out the roster and cover salmon, trout, steelhead and striped bass. The schedule mixes lake charters on Shasta, power boat work on the Sacramento and Feather systems, and a salmon season at Rogue Bay in Oregon, so the business is not tied to a single drainage.
