Murray’s Fly Shop
Edinburg, Virginia
Murray’s Fly Shop is a family-owned fly shop and guide service at 121 South Main Street, Edinburg, Virginia, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Harry Murray opened it in May 1962 and it has stayed in the family since, growing from a small local shop into a destination for anglers travelling to fish the Shenandoah Valley, Shenandoah National Park and the surrounding mountain streams. As well as guided days it runs on-the-stream schools, classes and workshops, sells tackle and flies online, and is the home of the Mr. Rapidan series of flies created in 1971. The shop opens Tuesday to Saturday and sits about two hours from Washington, DC.
