Sport Fish Colorado

Sport Fish Colorado is a guided fishing company owned and run by Seth Withrow with his wife Aimee, selling trips three hundred and sixty-five days a year across a string of Colorado reservoirs. Its published roster of destinations is Antero, Blue Mesa, Eleven Mile and Spinney, McPhee, Morrow Point, Pueblo, Tarryall and Taylor, and the guides also work Williams Fork and Lake San Cristobal. Kokanee salmon and trophy lake trout are the house specialities, with rainbow and brown trout, northern pike, walleye and yellow perch making up the rest of the card. The guide staff log hundreds of days a year on this water and the company keeps a public archive of its own fishing reports going back several seasons. Bookings are priced by duration rather than by destination, in three-hour, six-hour and trophy-trip brackets, and a separate ice-fishing operation and a set of online fishing classes are sold alongside the boat work. Seth bought his first boat, an eight-foot jon boat, at fifteen and has fished twelve months a year since, from small streams and high mountain lakes to the largest reservoirs in the state.
