Green Mountain Adventures

The fly fishing program sits inside a larger outdoor business. Green Mountain Adventures is the guiding side of the Middlebury Mountaineer, a shop at 56 Main Street in the center of town that sells gear over the counter and through an online store and rents equipment in both summer and winter. Guiding is not limited to anglers either: the same operation books rock climbing, paddling and hiking, and puts on kids camps through the warm months, so staff and equipment carry across several activities. Retail hours run Tuesday through Sunday with the shop closed Mondays, and trips are arranged through that same storefront rather than through a separate office.
