Green River Lake Crappie Trips

Guided crappie trips on Green River Lake work the Columbia side of the reservoir, the impoundment that backs up the Green River above Campbellsville. David Jones runs the boat and supplies rods, reels, bait, tackle and life jackets, and he cleans the catch at the end of the day. The trips are pitched as instructional as much as productive: Jones works through how he reads structure and locates fish rather than simply anchoring a party over a spot he already knows. Crappie are the single target species. Anglers bring a Kentucky fishing licence and their own food and drink; the rest comes with the boat.
