Tim Marple guides crappie anglers on Green River Lake, working out of the Holmes Bend arm near Columbia on the Adair County shore of the reservoir. A trip runs six hours and carries one or two anglers at a published rate of 350 dollars, with other arrangements quoted on request. Crappie are the only species fished for. Holmes Bend is one of the main access points on the lake, with a ramp and a marina, which keeps the run to water short. Bookings are taken by phone rather than through an online system.
