Eufaula Lake Guides

All fishing is on Lake Eufaula, the Walter F. George impoundment on the Chattahoochee straddling the Alabama and Georgia line. Bass, crappie, shellcracker, bream and channel cats are on the card, and night trips for trophy largemouth are a signature through the warmer months. Autumn is the headline period: once surface temperature falls roughly ten degrees the fish quit the deeper ledges and spread onto flats and into the hydrilla, and the stretch from then until Christmas fishes as strongly as any window in the year for both numbers and size, with chatterbaits, square-bill crankbaits and topwater when conditions allow. Water clarity swings from muddy to lightly stained after heavy rain. Boats fished are a 2025 Ranger 520R, a 2025 Phoenix 921 Elite and a 21-foot Xpress aluminium rig, wired with current electronics and forward-facing sonar. Bass trips run half or full day for two anglers; crappie trips are four or six hours for a maximum of two, with rods, reels, tackle and bait supplied. Guests bring their own Alabama licence, food and drink.
