Mullett Lake charters depart out of Cheboygan, with the exact boat launch confirmed with clients a few days before the trip. The published season on this lake is September through November, targeting walleye, steelhead, northern pike and perch. The lake is fished from a twenty-three-foot Grady White Tournament named Reel Mafia, rigged with live-scope sonar and an enclosed cabin, seating up to six anglers. The standard outing runs roughly four hours for up to four anglers, with departures at 6:30 in the morning or 4:30 in the afternoon, and a shorter Kids Fishing Special of two to two and a half hours is offered at call-for-pricing. All rods, reels, terminal tackle and bait are supplied, and the catch is cleaned, filleted and bagged at the end of the trip. Anglers seventeen and over must carry a valid Michigan licence, and are asked to bring layered clothing, sunscreen, food, drinks and a cooler.
