DayMaker Charters
Stuart, Florida · Fishes St. Lucie Estuary
DayMaker’s inshore trips run from Sailfish Marina, which is located in the Manatee Pocket on the St. Lucie River and is a five-minute boat ride from the St. Lucie Inlet, so the day begins on the river rather than after a long run out of it. The four most sought-after species encountered in and around the Indian River Lagoon, the St. Lucie River and the surrounding estuaries are named as snook, tarpon, redfish and trout, with pompano, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, cobia and permit also taken on the same water. Half-day, three-quarter-day, full-day and unique night trips are offered, the night trips being a distinct product rather than a late start. The boat takes up to six anglers. Bait, tackle, foul weather gear, ice, fishing licences and cleaning of the catch are included in the price. Deposits are $500 on a half day and $750 on the longer trips, with the balance settled on the day of fishing.
