Float days are run on the lower Yampa from drift boats, with put ins and take outs on the several sections the shop works. The float window is short and runoff dependent, opening in late May and closing in the middle of July, so boat days are booked around the snowmelt rather than across the season. A half day float is six hundred to six hundred and fifty dollars and a full day seven hundred to seven hundred and fifty, either price covering one or two anglers. Wade days are sold alongside and take up to three rods, at three hundred and fifty to eight hundred dollars for a half day and five hundred to eleven hundred for a full one. Winter turns the operation over to ice fishing, half days only, at three hundred and fifty dollars for the first angler and fifty for each of up to three more. Private lease access adds a further hundred and twenty-five to a hundred and seventy-five dollars a head.
