ROW Adventure Center
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho · Fishes Coeur d'Alene River
ROW Adventure Center floats a remote upper stretch of the Coeur d’Alene River known as the North Fork, which it says it is the only outfitter licensed to run. Trips meet at the 76 gas station in Kingston, Idaho, roughly forty-five to fifty minutes east of downtown Coeur d’Alene, for a 7:30 am Pacific start. Boats take three people including the guide, or 750 pounds, and a full-day float begins at $700 for one or two anglers with all fishing gear and a lunch on the river included. Floats run March through June; a four-hour walk-and-wade half day is sold daily from March into October at $510 for one or two anglers. Anglers can expect prolific mayfly and golden stone hatches in May and June and October caddis in the fall, on a river that runs out of the Silver Valley into Lake Coeur d’Alene and holds native cutthroat.
