Teton Fly Fishing floats the Snake River through Jackson Hole in an Adipose drift boat, running full days at $900 for one or two people. Snake River cutthroat are the fish that define this water, averaging six to fourteen inches with some past twenty, and brown, rainbow, and brook trout along with mountain whitefish turn up as well. The river fishes in two windows on this outfit’s calendar, April into early May and then July through November, with half day winter floats at $500 filling part of the gap. Stoneflies, grey drakes, yellow sallies, pale morning duns, and caddis drive the dry fly work, while nymphs, streamers, and hopper dropper rigs cover the rest. Rates include transportation, Winston rods and Orvis reels, terminal tackle, and lunch on a full day or snacks and drinks on a half day.
