Roaring Fork Anglers
Glenwood Springs, Colorado · Fishes Roaring Fork River
Roaring Fork Anglers guides the Roaring Fork River from its shop on Grand Avenue in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, the town where the Roaring Fork meets the Colorado River at the bottom of the valley. Trips are booked as wade days or float days, in full day and three quarter day lengths, and the guides move between the Roaring Fork itself and the valley’s other water, including the Colorado through Glenwood Springs, the Frying Pan and the Crystal, choosing the stretch to fit conditions. The Emma section and the water around Glenwood Springs are both named on the shop’s own fishing reports. Every trip includes rods, waders and beverages; full days add lunch and three quarter days a light snack. Rod fees on private ranches, flies and gratuities are handled separately. Private water is part of the program too, with access to the BarZX and the Giannetti Spring Creeks. Advance reservations are recommended. Brown and rainbow trout are the fish.
