Provo River Fly Fishing Guides

Trips are wade outings, no boats, on two pieces of the Provo near Heber City, Utah: the Middle Provo, which is the tailwater, and the Lower Provo, which is the canyon. Both are described as tailwater sections that fish through the whole year, with strong trout populations and dependable wading conditions. Brown trout, rainbow trout and whitefish are the fish on offer. Half days start at $295 and full days at $469, with all gear included and photographs taken over the course of the outing. Corporate group outings are quoted separately. Trevor Nicolaides, who owns the business, guides trips himself or hands them to guides he has trained personally, a point the operation makes in contrast to larger shops that rotate through seasonal staff. Beginners are taken as readily as experienced anglers.
