The company is headquartered in Lebanon, Oregon, in the Willamette Valley rather than on the river it fishes, and has operated since 1966. Craig and Tina Hughson own and run it, the second generation of the family in the business. Guides work as independently licensed subcontractors, all carrying CPR and first aid certification, and the roster runs to several experienced hands rather than a single operator. The outfit is not tied to one drainage: trips are guided elsewhere in Oregon and on rivers in Washington and California as well. Camping infrastructure, cooking, and gear transport are handled in house, which is what makes the multi day format the center of the operation rather than an extra.
