Every guided float is run from a drift boat skiff on the Toccoa. Three trips are sold: a half day of roughly four hours taken either morning or afternoon at four hundred dollars, a three-quarter day of six hours at five hundred, and a full day of about eight hours starting in the morning at six hundred. There is also a short three-hour high water streamer session, aimed at the bigger fish when the dam is pushing volume, which can be extended on request. Parties meet the guide at Tammen Park, Curtis Switch TVA, Horseshoe Bend Park or a private access, chosen on the day according to river conditions. Brown and rainbow trout are the quarry. All fly fishing gear and flies are included, the angler brings a valid Georgia fishing licence with a trout stamp, and polarised sunglasses are recommended.
