Guided trout trips run on the Little Red River out of Heber Springs, Arkansas, for rainbows and trophy brown trout, water the outfitter describes as fishing year round. Nymphing and streamer work are named as the techniques used most, with dry fly opportunity in particular seasons. A full day is $500 and includes all gear and lunch; a half day is $350 with gear included but no lunch. Bookings take a 50 percent deposit, cancellations made 14 or more days out are refunded and closer cancellations forfeit the deposit, and trips run rain or shine. Anglers arrange their own Arkansas fishing license and trout permit. Full days at the same $500 rate are also run on the White River at Cotter, though half days are not offered there. For parties too large for one boat the guide coordinates with other guides working the same rivers.
