Gregory Nespor Fly Fishing

Guided walk-and-wade fly fishing for rainbow trout on the Merced River in and around Yosemite National Park, worked from the El Portal side of the park boundary. Half-day outings run about four hours and are priced at $500 for one or two anglers, with each additional angler $125 and a maximum party of four. Full days are 8+ hours at $700 for one or two anglers and $150 for each angler beyond that, again capped at four rods. All equipment is provided, so visitors arriving in the valley without tackle can still get on the water. The same guide also books days on the Tuolumne and, further east, on the East Walker.
