Seattle, Washington · Fishes Queets River
Joe Princen Guide Service has been licensed to guide the Queets River system since 2013 and states that it is fully licensed by the Olympic National Park system, which it notes only a few operators are. Its calendar for the river is specific: A-run coho in September, trophy chinook through October and November taken as catch, photograph and release, coho again in November, hatchery steelhead in December, and wild steelhead in March and the first half of April. Chinook trips on the system are not fished at all until limits can be retained. The day is priced at $270 per person and is fished from a heated Willie drift boat with leather seating. The upper Quinault inside the park is sold on the same page and under the same park permit.
