Largemouth bass are the headline fish and are released unless a client wants one mounted, while panfish and other keepers go home with the guest. Catch expectations are set high: days of twenty-five to fifty fish are described as routine, and outings of a hundred to a hundred and fifty fish are said to occur regularly. The price of a trip includes equipment use, live bait, lures, boat fuel and ice, so a guest arrives with nothing but a licence and lunch. Booking is handled by email, or by phone and text during daylight hours, with rates and available dates quoted on enquiry rather than posted publicly. The service will also run trips on other Georgia lakes on request, though West Point is the home water and the reservoir the business is named for.
