The Llano River is fished on float days, both the main stem and the North and South Llano around Junction, with the season holding from March through November. A full day is eight hours for one or two anglers at $500, and equipment, flies, lunch and non alcoholic drinks are all provided. Guadalupe bass, the Texas state fish, is the headline quarry, alongside largemouth bass, Rio Grande cichlids, sunfish, channel catfish, gar, carp and freshwater drum, with white bass moving through in winter and early spring.
