Barnegat Bay Fishing Charters is owned and operated by Captain Joe Rizzo, a full-time bayman who has worked on Barnegat Bay since childhood and still makes his living from it. Alongside the fishing charters it runs waterfowl hunts on the bay, and during a trip customers can help the captain tend his crab pots and take home fresh blue claw crabs with the rest of the catch, which is closer to a day spent working the bay than a conventional booked charter.
