Bear Valley Rafting

Bear Valley Rafting has been guiding since 1990, thirty-six seasons, from a base at 7864 Idaho 55 in Banks. The operation is broader than its trip sheet suggests: it teaches kayaking from beginner through advanced and runs the BVR Guide School, a raft guide training course, so a share of the people working Idaho whitewater learned the trade here. The location doubles as a coffee and convenience stop for travellers on the highway, and the company sells photography shot on its own trips. Ownership is not named publicly. Its permits reach the Main Fork, the Staircase and Canyon sections of the South Fork, and Cabarton.
