Blackhawk Fly Fishing

Blackhawk Fly Fishing is a private-water fly fishing destination with lodging attached, reached through a mailing address at P.O. Box 2555, Clarkesville, GA 30523, while the water itself lies at Batesville. Bookings are handled by Abby Jackson. Guests can stay on site in an 1860s farmhouse that sleeps eight, or in a couple’s chalet, with a fully equipped kitchen available for private chef service, and there is a lakeside arrangement with the Inn at Burton. The operation runs its own shop, Abby J’s Soque River Outfitters, together with a Simms waders-and-boots programme, custom fly tying and gift certificates. Refunds require forty-five days notice.
