Blue Heron Guide Service
Forks, Washington
Blue Heron Guide Service is Larry Ford’s operation, based at Forks in the far west of the Olympic Peninsula, with anglers met at 950 S Forks Avenue. It fishes that corner of Washington year round rather than working a single season, and it sells spey casting, fly fishing and gear fishing as distinct ways of covering the water. Lodging is offered alongside the guided days. Two numbers are published, a mobile and an office line, and bookings can also be made through the site.
Its beat is the Quillayute drainage and the rivers that feed it, the Bogachiel among them, alongside the Sol Duc, the Hoh and the Calawah.
