This is a guide service rather than a retail business, working without a storefront from a base in Rockbridge Baths in the Virginia Blue Ridge. Its stated range covers close to thirty rivers, streams and lakes across western Virginia, with trips staged toward Covington, Buchanan, Blacksburg and Luray depending on what is fishing at the time. The James and the South Fork of the Shenandoah are worked for smallmouth bass, along with the New and the Smith. High end waders, boots, rods, reels and terminal tackle are supplied with a booking, and longer days include drinks, snacks and a meal. The company is fully insured and licensed with the National Forest Service, sells standalone fly fishing lessons apart from guided days, and arranges fishing travel through a partner agency, Rockbridge Travel and Tours.
